Camino French Way – We Walk in Faith
Sharing some photos from one of our trips through the Camino French Way:

Finished…Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela on the Camino French Way. The final stop on the Camino Francés, the cathedral contains the remains of St. James the Great. After years of resturation, It has been restored to its former glory.
St. James the Great, one of Jesus’ apostles, evangelized parts of Iberia (Spain) before returning to Jerusalem where he was martyred. His two disciples returned his body to the Iberian Peninsula, where he had preached during his lifetime. At the beginning of the ninth century, St. James remains were rediscovered. A bright light one night led a Holy Hermit named Pelayo, who was living in the wilds of Galicia, to the tomb of St. James. Bishop Theodomir was informed and traveled to the shrine as well as King Alfonso II and the nobles of his court. Today, when pilgrims reach Santiago, they will visit the beautiful Cathedral with the relics of St. James.
Santiago de Compostela, over time, has become one of the three most important Catholic pilgrimage destinations, alongside Jerusalem and Rome. Join us on the Camino. We have organized pilgrimages on the French Way and Portuguese Way or we can create a personalized pilgrimage for you, your family or a group.
