Please review the terms and conditions regarding this tour. The tour description provides certain rights which you should review prior to making your deposit. All tours are land based except Crete extension tour.
DEPOSITS,PAYMENT TERMS & CANCELLATIONS: A deposit of $400.00 per person is due upon confirmation and is fully refundable within 14 days of the payment. After 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable for any reason (exception – can be applied to a transfer to another tour within the same calendar year). Full payment is required 75 days before tour. If you sign up for a tour less than 75 days before departure, the entire tour price must be paid and the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations received 75 days or more before tour start date incur loss of deposit and 30% of package price. Cancelations within 60 days to start of tour – there will be no refunds (exceptions: see medical or family emergencies). MEDSEAS LLC, does not agree to provide any services until full payment is received. Cancellations must be communicated in writing or email and the effective date is the date received. If a payment is returned for any reason, it will incur a $35 returned check fee and will be added to the tour balance. Checks should be made payable to “MEDSEAS LLC.”
PRICES: Tour prices are based on currency rates, tariffs and ground costs in effect September 25th, 2016 at the time of tour quotation. Rates are subject to change without notice. Those who have made payment in full WILL NOT incur any additional increases. If fewer than 18 participate (or the minimum set per tour) in the tour, a price adjustment will be necessary.
TOUR CANCELLATION BY OPERATOR: Be advised that from time to time a tour departure may be cancelled due to lack of participation. In such case, the operator’s sole responsibility is to provide a full refund. MEDSEAS LLC, is not responsible and does not assume responsibility for any additional costs or any fees relating to the issuance and /or cancellation of air tickets. Cancellations due to state advisories and/or state warnings, Acts of War, War, Terrorism, Acts of God, Natural Disaster or any other circumstance outside the control of MEDSEAS LLC, are not the fault of MEDSEAS LLC. We will make every effort to accommodate to another trip or to revise itinerary, however, cancellation for any of these reasons will not be eligible for refund.
Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended
CANCELLATION INSURANCE: MEDSEAS LLC, is not responsible or liable for loss, damage, theft of luggage or personal belongings, personal injury, accidents, illnesses or trip cancellation. For your protection we suggest that you purchase adequate travel insurance to cover these eventualities and cost of your tour. We recommend Travelex Insurance.
PASSPORTS: All tour members must have a valid passport with expiration date at least 6 months after traveling dates per each participant.
REFUNDS: During the tour are granted subject to the following: If illness or serious emergency compels you to leave the tour, a refund for unused services will be granted (minus deposit) upon presentation of written documentation within 30 days of completion of tour. Refunds for opting out of meals/sightseeing are not granted.
TRANSFERRING TO ANOTHER TOUR:
We understand at times there can be changes in plans. Up to 90 days prior to your tour’s departure, you can transfer to any other MEDSEAS LLC tour in the same calendar year with available space, applying your existing deposit, payments and with no transfer fee. If you transfer to a different tour, the price of that tour will be applied, effective on the date we confirm your transfer. Transfers less than 60 days before your tour’s departure may not be possible.
ABSENCE: The absence/no show of any participant in the tour, without prior written cancellation, carries the total loss of the full amount of the tour.
TRANSFERS: Transportation is included as per itinerary for those arriving/departing on same day and stipulated times of tour dates. Those participants arriving/departing earlier/later or who fail to provide flight arrival information are responsible for their own transfers to/from the hotel.
HOTELS: The tour price is based on shared accommodation in twin rooms (there are some king/queen beds) with private shower or bath. A limited number of single rooms are available at additional supplements. Tour participants without a roommate will have to pay the single rate. MEDSEAS LLC, reserves the right to substitute hotels of a similar category if necessary.
JOINED US ON OTHER TOURS? Contact us about our ALUMNI program. We will credit you $50 for each trip you have joined us on (extension tours do not generate additional credit) and you can use the credit for future travel with MEDSEAS. Credit cannot be applied to scheduled Camino de Santiago Pilgrimages as they are restricted to only 16/17 participants (credit can still be gained). Credit can be applied to Camino Pilgrimages organized privately through MEDSEAS.
